Yossi and Sarah Klein* live with their 4 beautiful children in Brooklyn, NY. Yossi is a busy 37 year old business owner, while Sarah, age 35, teaches math to high school students at the local Bais Yaakov. Their combined annual income is $195,000. The 2 older children attend a local cheder and Bais Yaakov, little Avigail is thriving in playgroup and baby Malkie is still at the babysitter.
In the past year, each family member went in for an annual well visit which included some basic lab work and vaccinations for the children. In early January, the family received great news — Sarah was expecting another child! Later that year, Flu season hit hard and Sarah took her children in for sick visits 12 times, and in October, 8 year old Chaim sprained his ankle at the playground.
Like many families in our community, the Kleins struggle to balance their day-to-day expenses together with tuition, mortgage, bills, and of course, their healthcare costs. Thankfully, the Kleins are members of United Refuah HealthShare. Let’s take a look at how United Refuah has an impact on their lives.
